Now is the time to add grasses to your garden.  Make sure the grass is hardy to your area and/or

naturalized to your state.

Do a little research.  Commercial nurseries sell all kinds of grasses - not always a perennial for your area AND  some grasses can be very invasive.   

Grasses are well worth the garden space - esp. in Autumn with beautiful seed heads and colors.

Most grasses that are hardy in Nebraska don't like to be cut off in the fall.  Leave until 

Spring to cut at ground level or, if your area permits, burn off all the dead stalks.
