I know most people don't feel the way I do about dandelions - but, pouring tons of poisons on the lawns of America is not the answer. Dandelions are good for the soil - their deep tap root brings
nutrients up to the surface soil that shallow rooted plants can't normally get to. AND earthworms use the tap roots too. And we all know how good for the soil/gardens earthworms are.

If you don't want dandelions, just pull the heads off or mow before they go to seed.
A little more effort, but a lot cleaner environment
