This is a field of loosestrife... Do Not Grow loosestrife.. It's worse than a noxious weed. It spreads rapidly and chokes out native plants & wildflowers and takes over completely. Loosestrife also chokes out streams and the oxygen in the streams killing the life in the stream. Birds carry the seeds and deposit them everywhere they poop and almost all the seeds germ and grow. If you have any loosestrife growing anywhere, pull it up and burn or bag and send to landfill. DO NOT COMPOST as it will retain some seeds to germ and grow. THIS is NOT A PRETTY PLANT.
