I've been picking lavender... beautiful and smells soooo good.
Did you know that lavender is mother natures moth repellent.... just pick, hang to dry, place in a little linenlike bag and tuck into closets etc. to keep the moths at bay.

Dried lavender does shatter, so be sure to contain it in a bag, bowl, dish etc.

The Garden Junkie has lavender for sale - the kind that will be hearty to Nebraska.
